More birds arriving safely from migration!

You may not see all these birds on the livestream cams. Some do not come to the feeders at all. Most will use the birdbaths – at least to drink – but they are often there and gone almost faster than you can blink an eye. But I wanted you to know they are here – makes our whole yard wildlife refuge more complete.
Yesterday, we observed a White-crowned Sparrow at the large birdbath taking a bath and this bird needs to have its suitcase packed. Nesting is in northern and western Canada and time is wasting! We still have small flocks of migrating warblers in our trees – most are Yellow-rumped and Palm. As the days go by, we should also get Black-and-White and Yellow Warblers. We do have two singing Red-eyed Vireos who will stay in this neighborhood for the summer. A House Wren, Chipping Sparrow, and Song Sparrow have all been singing and will also nest here. Our ‘refuge family’ is almost complete!
